Minister for States and Frontier Regions Engineer Amir Muqam has emphasized Pakistan's enduring friendship and cooperative spirit with Afghanistan, particularly in addressing the concerns of Afghan refugees.During a meeting with Afghanistan's Charge d'Affaires Sardar Ahmed Khan Shakeeb in Islamabad on Friday, he said Pakistan extended the stay of Proof of Registration card holders for one year, recognizing the ongoing humanitarian situation.He urged Afghanistan to pursue long-term solutions for its citizens residing in Pakistan, focusing on their return and integration.Charge d'Affaires Sardar Ahmed Khan Shakeeb expressed profound gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their hospitality towards Afghan refugees over the past four decades.He appreciated the extension of the POR card validity, acknowledging it as a critical support for Afghan nationals in Pakistan.Source: Radio Pakistan
