Karachi: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Limited have entered into an agreement for colocation services at PTCL’s Tier-III Data Center facility. This collaboration aims to provide a secure and reliable environment equipped with modern infrastructure and managed security services.
The agreement was signed by Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL and Ufone 4G, and Muhammad Atif Hanif, CEO of Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Limited. The ceremony took place at the bank’s head office in Karachi.
The event was attended by several key figures, including Shahid Sumar, Chief Information Officer at Al Baraka Bank, and Syed Muhammad Saqib, Head of IT Infrastructure at Al Baraka Bank. Representatives from PTCL, including Basharat Qureshi, Group VP Enterprise, and Sayyed Imran Bukhari, Group VP B2B Strategy, were also present.
Asif Ahmad highlighted the partnership as a step towards supporting Al Baraka Bank’s digital transformation. He emphasized PTCL’s role in leading organizations towards advanced technology solutions to push the national digital agenda.
Muhammad Atif Hanif expressed the significance of the agreement in enhancing the bank’s infrastructure and data management. He noted that partnering with PTCL is expected to improve security and expedite service delivery, contributing to a better digital experience for customers.
