KARACHI: Chakwal Spinning Mills Limited has officially rebranded as “Quantum Cloud and AI Technologies Limited” following a board meeting held on 12th July 2024 at the company’s registered office. The company also announced a strategic shift in its primary business sector from textiles to information technology.
In a recent board meeting, the directors of Chakwal Spinning Mills Limited, now known as Quantum Cloud and AI Technologies Limited, ratified several critical decisions. Among the key resolutions was the approval of the company’s rebranding and the redirection of its business focus.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the board’s decision comes in light of new management slated to take over the operations. This shift marks a significant pivot from the company’s traditional involvement in the textile industry to a focus on the burgeoning IT sector.
Shareholders and TRE Certificate holders have been duly informed of these changes as required by the regulatory framework outlined in Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, in conjunction with Clause 5.6.1 of the PSX Regulations.
This move is seen as a strategic realignment of the company’s business model to better align with evolving market dynamics and future growth opportunities in the technology sector.
