Cherat Packaging Limited Approves Annual Budget and New Manufacturing Unit

Karachi, Cherat Packaging Limited announced the approval of its annual budget for the financial year 2024-25 during the Board of Directors meeting held on Friday, June 28, 2024. The meeting also resulted in the green light for a new manufacturing unit dedicated to producing Carrier/SOS Bags, with a projected cost of Rs. 435 million.

During the meeting, which aimed at discussing the company’s future financial and operational strategies, the board ratified the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. The specifics of the budget were not disclosed, but the approval marks a continued effort to align the company’s financial targets with its strategic objectives.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the newly approved manufacturing unit will focus on the production of Carrier/SOS bags. The project, costing approximately Rs. 435 million, will be financed through a long-term loan. This new unit is expected to be operational by March 2025, potentially increasing the company’s manufacturing capabilities and product range.

PSX has been requested to disseminate this information among the TRE Certificate Holders to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
