Karachi: Fatima Fertilizer’s Director of Marketing and Sales, Rabel Sadozai, has been awarded the Sustainability Leader of the Year at the Women Leading Change Awards Asia-Pacific 2025 in Hong Kong. This recognition highlights her leadership in transforming Pakistan’s agriculture and fertilizer industry through sustainable practices.

Sadozai’s efforts have led Fatima Fertilizer to become the first company in Pakistan to partner with the United Nations Development Programme by adopting the Sustainable Development Goals Impact Framework in 2024. This partnership emphasizes the company’s commitment to advancing global goals, including climate action and gender equality.

“It is an incredible honor to receive this recognition among such inspiring changemakers from across Asia-Pacific,” Sadozai stated. She emphasized that sustainability forms the foundation of Fatima Fertilizer’s operations, focusing on securing Pakistan’s food future and empowering farming communities, particularly women.

Sadozai has also been instrumental in policy advocacy, promoting responsible agriculture and sustainability at national forums. Her initiatives include the concept of Salam Kissan and the establishment of Pakistan’s first-ever Kissan Day on December 18th, recognized by the government to honor farmers’ contributions.
