Islamabad: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam has emphasized that the government is prioritizing the development and prosperity of all areas within the country, with a particular focus on Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a discussion with Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Justice (Retired) Yar Muhammad in Islamabad, Muqam highlighted the necessity of maintaining law and order to achieve sustainable development. He stressed that a peaceful environment is crucial for the successful promotion of tourism in the region.

The Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan conveyed that continued support from the Federal Government will be instrumental in reinforcing the ongoing development efforts. The meeting also included comprehensive discussions on the current law and order situation and various development issues in Gilgit-Baltistan.
