Iran Expresses Interest in Co-Producing Film on Allama Iqbal with Pakistan

Islamabad: Iran has shown interest in collaborating with Pakistan to co-produce a feature film about Allama Iqbal, as stated by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal. He made these remarks while chairing a meeting in Islamabad aimed at reviewing preparations for the commemoration of Allama Iqbal’s 150th birth anniversary.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Planning Minister highlighted the significance of developing a high-quality drama series that would depict the life and works of Allama Iqbal. Ahsan Iqbal emphasized Iqbal’s role as a visionary thinker whose poetry ignited the freedom movement during the colonial era and contributed to the ideological foundation of Pakistan.

Further discussing the initiatives inspired by Iqbal, the Minister mentioned that the symbol of Iqbal’s “Shaheen” has been adopted as the emblem for Uraan Pakistan. This national initiative is designed to inspire the country’s youth by drawing from Iqbal’s legacy.
