Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast widespread torrential rains across the country from Sunday till Tuesday. The Met Office has warned that these rains may potentially cause flash floods in local streams of northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, and Kashmir. Additionally, the hill torrents in D.G Khan and eastern Balochistan are expected to swell dangerously during this period.
According to Radio Pakistan, the weather authorities are closely monitoring the situation and have advised residents in the affected areas to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
