Met Office Predicts Rain and Thunderstorms in Upper Regions

Islamabad: More rain-windstorm and thunderstorms are anticipated in the regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, and Kashmir over the next twelve hours. Dry and partly cloudy weather is expected to prevail across other parts of the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded in major cities this morning included thirteen degrees Celsius in both Islamabad and Peshawar, fifteen in Lahore, twenty-four in Karachi, five in Quetta, twelve in Gilgit and Muzaffarabad, and four in Murree.

The forecast for the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of rain expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula, and Leh. Temperature readings this morning showed eight degrees Celsius in Srinagar, fourteen in Jammu, minus one in Leh, seven in Pulwama and Anantnag, and six in Baramula and Shopian.
