Pakistan Army Urban Search & Rescue Team Starts Operations in Flood-Hit Areas

Islamabad: Pakistan Army’s Urban Search and Rescue Team has begun relief and rehabilitation work in various areas of Buner, Shangla, and Swat districts. The team is focused on locating injured individuals and recovering bodies buried under debris, utilizing specialized equipment to carry out these critical tasks.

According to Radio Pakistan, personnel from the Corps of Engineers have joined the efforts by opening damaged bridges and clearing blocked roads to facilitate the rescue operations. Despite challenging weather conditions, Pakistan Army helicopters remain actively engaged in the rescue missions, ensuring timely support to the affected areas.
