Pakistan Looks Forward to Strengthening Ties with New Iraqi Government: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Iraq's new leadership, following the appointment of Ali al-Zaidi as the Prime Minister of Iraq. In a recent post on his X handle, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his congratulations and highlighted Pakistan's intent to work together with the Iraqi government to enhance bilateral relations and pursue mutual goals related to regional peace, stability, and prosperity.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif extended his warm wishes to Ali al-Zaidi, acknowledging the significance of his new role and responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of the partnership between Pakistan and Iraq and reiterated his commitment to foster closer cooperation.
