Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued an alert for possible heavy rain across Punjab from Thursday to Sunday.In a statement, Director General PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia said there is a forecast of tropical rains, thunder, lightning and strong winds.Meanwhile, Relief Commissioner Punjab Nabeel Javaid has instructed the provincial administration to remain alert.He said the PDMA control room is operational 24/7.He advised people living near rivers and streams to adopt precautionary measures.Source: Radio Pakistan
