Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his gratitude to international partners for recognizing Pakistan's efforts in promoting global peace.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a post on his X handle, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the significance of the upcoming Islamabad Talks and extended his heartfelt thanks to several key nations. He acknowledged the invaluable support from countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Egypt, and Qatar, which have played a crucial role in reaching a ceasefire.
The Prime Minister further conveyed his appreciation for the diplomatic efforts made by these countries, emphasizing the importance of seeking a comprehensive and conclusive resolution to ongoing conflicts. He also recognized the continuous support from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, noting their commitment to regional peace and stability as essential to the success of these efforts.
Moreover, Prime Minister Sharif commended the leadership of both the brotherly countries and the United States of America for their strategic vision and patience in prioritizing peace initiatives. He called for collective action to establish lasting peace in the region and beyond, underscoring the shared responsibility in achieving this goal.
