Bannu: A video circulating on social media has exposed the brutality of Fitna Al-Khawarij after an innocent girl was subjected to inhumane torture in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Radio Pakistan, the girl had been wearing male attire while going to work in order to help support her parents, as Fitna Al-Khawarij had imposed restrictions on women from working. The militants allegedly abducted the girl and subjected her to severe torture, while also recording the incident on video.

Following the circulation of the video, strong anger and outrage have been witnessed among the public against Fitna Al-Khawarij. Experts have described the incident as an unforgivable crime committed by Fitna Al-Khawarij. They say the tragic incident reflects the extremist mindset of the group, which misuses religion to create fear and terror within society.

Religious scholars have also strongly condemned the incident, saying the group of Fitna Al-Khawarij targets innocent people under the guise of Islam, which is contrary to the true teachings and spirit of the religion. They said such violence and humiliating treatment of an innocent girl exposes the distorted and ugly face of Fitna Al-Khawarij.
