Karachi:The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is actively pursuing reform initiatives aimed at facilitating businesses, promoting industrial development, and attracting investment in Pakistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, an important meeting was held between Advisor on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar, SIFC officials, and a delegation from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
The meeting's discussions centered on enhancing the ease of doing business, advancing digital transformation, and exploring ways to harness the development potential of Sindh. One of the significant outcomes of SIFC's efforts is the approval of the Karachi Industrial Park as a federal Special Economic Zone.
This newly approved industrial park will provide port access, fully developed infrastructure, and special incentives aimed at export-oriented industries, further promoting economic growth in the region.
