South waziristan: Afghan Taliban regime has once again carried out a cowardly attack on civilian population in Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan.
According to Radio Pakistan, Afghan Taliban fired mortar shells into the border areas adjacent to Angoor Adda. A mortar shell landed on a house injuring five members of the same family. Local residents reported that civilians, especially children, are being hit by shelling from across the border, and the area remains in a state of fear.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Lower has released details of the damage caused by the shelling of the Afghan Taliban regime in Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan. According to Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Lower, eight people including children and women were critically injured, while several houses were destroyed due to the provocation of the Afghan Taliban regime. After immediate medical treatment, the injured were shifted to Dera Ismail Khan and Peshawar.
Locals and tribal elders of Angoor Adda, condemning the unprovoked aggression of the Afghan Taliban, have demanded that the firing and shelling from Afghanistan be stopped immediately. They said the Afghan Taliban and their affiliated Khawarij terrorists are continuously targeting the common people to fulfill their nefarious designs.
