Widespread Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Pakistan and Kashmir

Islamabad: Widespread intermittent rain-windstorms and thunderstorms, including a few heavy falls and hailstorms, are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, and Kashmir during the next twelve hours. Partly cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thunderstorms is also likely at isolated places in northeast Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities showed Murree at five degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty, Karachi at twenty-six, Peshawar at seventeen, Quetta at nine, Gilgit at ten, and Muzaffarabad at twelve degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Leh is expected to experience partly cloudy weather. Temperature recordings from this morning revealed that Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian were at seven degrees centigrade, Jammu at seventeen, Leh at zero, and Anantnag and Baramula at eight degrees centigrade.
