According to Radio Pakistan, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expressed optimism that the negotiation process will be conducted with genuine intentions and a strong resolve to resolve the current issues in the region. The Malaysian Prime Minister also extended gratitude to Pakistan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their diplomatic efforts, acknowledging Pakistan's unbiased approach in engaging with all parties involved.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz expressed appreciation for the ceasefire and Pakistan's mediating role. He emphasized the importance of diplomatic negotiations in achieving a permanent resolution to the conflict. Indonesia also welcomed the ceasefire, urging both Iran and the US to respect each other's sovereignty and diplomatic integrity.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong issued a joint statement expressing hope that the ceasefire will lead to a durable resolution. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recognized the ceasefire as a crucial opportunity for diplomacy and dialogue, stressing the need to halt military operations and uphold international navigation freedoms.
