Minister for National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel laid the foundation stone of expansion project of poly clinic hospital, Islamabad today.
Speaking on the occasion, he said government is taking emergency measures to provide best possible health facilities to the people.
The Minister said modernization and expansion of hospitals in Islamabad is necessary due to influx of patients from other cities in the federal capital especially nearby areas.
He said project of a two hundred-bed cancer hospital has already been started at PIMS, Islamabad.
He said we have tried to deliver the best we could in short span of fourteen months.
